Face Skin Tone Classification

The aforementioned analysis can be best conducted when the parameters are changed as per skin tone observed in a specific image. We have developed an AI-powered facial skin analysis and tone classifier model that can easily extract face color and other features from a given image. It seamlessly classifies the detected features into a scale of 12 skin tone colors. KritiKal developed a DL-based Guided Web Selfie app that guides the user capturing the image with easy-to-understand animation, texts and audio cues. It effectively captures high-resolution images by assisting the user with respect to proper lighting conditions (too bright, too low, natural light) in the absence of occlusion (sunglasses, hat, hair strands, mask, spectacles). It computes 3D neutral expression; face pose and size for capturing clear, high-quality images and can be optimized for better performance over iOS and Android devices.

An AI-enabled Image Analysis method using reconstruction of facial skin image by simulating slight changes to the pigment construction in the skin of a given subject and visualizing a rich variation. The desktop-based virtual skin analysis software application first decomposes a skin’s image, then estimates the various skin components separately, and finally reconstructs the skin image by using different proportions of each component to analyze the impact of varying calculated proportions on the skin color.
