Ozone Facial Steamer
We developed the consumer electronics product design of a facial steamer for sterilized and ozonized steam using inbuilt non-ionized UV lamps. It features an IP65 user interface, automatic sunlight control, NTC temperature, and water level sensors. Self-diagnostic optical sensors are mounted outside the tank to avoid scaling, and a firmware displays unit faults through color-coded LED.
Smart Shower
The KritiKal team developed a smart shower system that allows users to set the preferences of shower stages for a smarter bathing experience. The self-contained system is armed with an Atmel 32-bit controller, sensors to control water flow, pressure and temperature, Wi-Fi and BLE connectivity, and option to upload data to third-party cloud-based server.
Smart Cooking Aid
We designed and developed a kitchen aid module that assists and guides the user using stepwise pre-fed recipes via text and audio over LED display in both offline and online modes. It sends real-time notifications and preview over GUI, logs recipes, and has micro-controllers and a smart clip that attaches to vessels to measure temperature.
IoT-based Steamer
KritiKal built a smart device to enable the user to warm two recipes at a time based on pre-fed cooking parameters. It has modules like steam generation, thermostat for safe operations, power, user interaction, menu navigation via control knob, Wi-Fi connectivity and file transfer, OTA update, and STM-32 Micro Chip controller integrated sensor interface.
Smart Water Tank Monitoring
Our consumer electronics engineering team built an IoT controller for water tanks that monitors level, TDS, and temperature using ultrasonic sensors, reduces wastage, and improves pump efficiency. It enables remote access, predictive insights, analytics, and delivers actionable alerts to users via LoRa WAN/Wi-Fi/GSM/RF over AWS IoT Core dashboard or mobile app.
Stock Monitoring System
We built a camera-based low-power device that captures images at different angles and tracks temperature, motion or shock, light, and humidity of the cooler using sensors for event logging. It is installed inside the fridge where food or beverages are kept, to monitor and alert the impact of environmental parameters on cooling.
Wearable Diagnostic Tool
The KritiKal team built a sensor-matrix-enabled wearable device that monitors and diagnoses health parameters like body temperature, oxygen saturation, pulse rate, pregnancy contraction, fetal heart rate, cardiac murmur, wheezing, hemoglobin, and blood pressure non-invasively. It has a rechargeable Li-ion/polymer battery, BLE 4.2 module, microSD port, and a capacitive touch display.
Control Systems
We develop vehicle control units for event logging in 2/3W EVs, driving simulators interfaced with PC for haptic feedback, and sensor-based crane safety controllers. Our power distribution boards are used to monitor power lines and gain electronic device control. Our multi-zone HVAC controllers optimize energy and network-controlled zone-wise lighting systems support DALI interface communication.
Smart Inverter System
We developed a smart backup system that automatically detects power failure and switches the system to backup mode. The high-speed ARM Cortex core-enabled system has rich visualization features, intuitive GUI, built-in power section, load controlling unit, and a communication module. It also supports ethernet and Wi-Fi for connectivity and data logging.
