Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer – Satellite & Spacecraft Systems to design, develop, integrate, and validate embedded flight software and ground segment applications for satellite missions. The role focuses on real-time embedded systems, spacecraft communication protocols, and mission-critical software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop onboard Flight Software (FSW) and ground segment applications for satellite systems.
• Design embedded software for spacecraft subsystems, including AOCS, EPS, payload, and communication systems.
• Develop real-time applications using Embedded C, C++, Python, and RTOS.
• Implement hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, SpaceWire, and Ethernet.
• Develop satellite telemetry, telecommand, and data-handling software.
• Perform hardware-software integration, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Conduct Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Implement fault detection, isolation, and recovery mechanisms.
• Perform software verification, validation, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with spacecraft hardware, RF, AOCS, and mission operations teams.
• Support satellite commissioning, in-orbit software updates, and anomaly resolution.
• Ensure compliance with ECSS, NASA, ISRO, and MISRA C guidelines, as applicable.

• Hands-on experience in satellite, spacecraft, or space technology projects.
• Experience developing onboard flight software for satellite subsystems.
• Familiarity with space software standards, including ECSS, NASA, ISRO, and MISRA C.
• Experience with spacecraft integration, simulation, environmental testing, and mission operations.
