Robotics Software Engineer (C++ | ROS2 | DDS | Iceoryx)
3–4 Years Experience
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Robotics Software Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in C++, ROS2, DDS middleware, and IPC communication. The candidate will develop high-performance, low-latency robotics software, optimize real-time data communication, and integrate sensor and perception pipelines for autonomous robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance robotics software using Modern C++ (C++14/17).
- Implement IPC and zero-copy communication using Iceoryx and shared memory.
- Work with DDS middleware (Fast DDS, Cyclone DDS) and configure QoS.
- Develop and integrate ROS2 nodes, executors, and middleware.
- Optimize real-time data pipelines for cameras, LiDAR, and IMU sensors.
- Support computer vision and perception pipelines using OpenCV.
- Debug multithreading, synchronization, and concurrency issues.
- Optimize system performance, latency, and memory utilization.
- Support sensor integration, testing, and deployment on robotics platforms.
Required Skills
- 3–4 years of experience in Robotics Software Development or Autonomous Systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++14/C++17, multithreading, and memory management.
- Hands-on experience with ROS2, DDS, Fast DDS, or Cyclone DDS.
- Knowledge of Iceoryx, IPC, zero-copy communication, and shared memory.
- Experience with Linux, real-time systems, and performance optimization.
- Basic knowledge of OpenCV, computer vision, and sensor integration.
Good to Have
- NVIDIA Jetson, ARM-based embedded platforms.
- CUDA and GPU-accelerated pipelines.
- Docker and containerization.
- Sensor synchronization and timestamp management.
