Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer – Satellite Applications & IoT to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications, backend APIs, and cloud-based solutions for satellite communication and IoT systems.

The role involves satellite telemetry processing, device connectivity, data visualization, asset tracking, and integration with satellite networks and IoT platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop web, desktop, and mobile applications for satellite and IoT services.
  • Build backend services, REST APIs, and device management platforms.
  • Integrate satellite telemetry, IoT gateways, and communication protocols.
  • Develop dashboards for asset tracking, device monitoring, alerts, and reporting.
  • Process real-time and delayed data using MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/UDP, and JSON.
  • Manage SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud-based applications.
  • Implement authentication, security, logging, and error handling.
  • Support application deployment, testing, debugging, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with RF, embedded, satellite systems, and testing teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and test reports.

Required Technical Skills

  • Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
  • Backend Development: FastAPI, Django, Spring Boot, Node.js, or .NET
  • API Development: REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience in satellite, spacecraft, space technology, or satellite-enabled IoT projects.
  • Experience integrating satellite communication systems, terminals, gateways, or telemetry platforms.
  • Knowledge of GNSS/GPS, geospatial applications, mapping, and remote asset monitoring.
  • Familiarity with edge computing, message brokers, asynchronous processing, and secure cloud applications.
