CSV & Package Image Upload

The images are generated by the package scanning machine, which measures the dimensions of the package. It then prints the details of the package on the image taken and compares them with the details in the CSV for verification purposes.

Image Extraction & Quality Assessment

The application will assess the image quality in terms of low light or bright light and whether it is a distorted image. The image is enhanced using multiple image processing techniques to improve image contrast and sharpness.

AI models analyze the image to detect and locate the package, text box, package label, etc., by using a bounding box. These models also classify the detected package into a category, such as cardboard box, flyer, flyer over box, etc.

Text Reading

The system crops the text from the image and uses AI models for word detection followed by OCR on the words for enhanced image text extraction. AI models perform entity recognition and extraction to extract and link package details like dimensions, AWB number, date, place.

Label & Barcode Reading

The barcode data is identified and extracted from the label images. The label content is read using OCR, and key details are identified using entity recognition. All extracted package details, barcode, and label data are uploaded in the CSV.

Cloud Deployment

The application is deployed on the cloud, and images are uploaded by the user to a designated location in the cloud using an API or desktop app. As per the user’s trigger choice or time slot, the images are processed using GPU instances and final CSV is generated.
