Minimum Academic Qualification: B-Tech/MCA Electronics/Computer science
Years of Experience: 5 – 8 Years
Role and Responsibilities: Development and implementation of safety standards in accordance with the safety standards of ISO 26262 (for the automotive industry)
- Carrying out risk assessments and safety analyses
- Defining safety requirements
- Monitoring whether the safety concepts have been implemented
- Close collaboration with other teams and areas such as development engineers, test engineers or project management
- Carrying out training courses and raising functional safety awareness
- Carrying out validations
- Participation in FMEA appointments
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with automotive functional safety and ISO26262 standards for software development projects
Proven experience working with the ISO 26262 product development lifecycle with focus on Parts 4, 5 & 6 development. - Create Technical safety concept
- Experience in preparing Hazard analysis
- Leading functional safety meetings with customer
- Performing risk assessments
- Track and monitor project related functional safety work packages and milestones in all phases of the safety lifecycle
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Cross functional thinking and good analytical and conceptual skills
Desirable Skills:
- Working experience with heavy duty engine software development
- Experience in performing safety-oriented analysis such as software FTA, DFMEA and DFA.
