Aiming to build meaningful solutions to bring about a revolution in the embedded computing & vision by leveraging Linux and open-source technologies, Toradex & KritiKal Solutions talked on emerging technologies and imparted a better understanding of the concepts through interactive presentations and brushed up the skills of the attendees by delivering hands-on demos and sessions.
The technology workshop gathered key dignitaries from HAL, Tata Power, Giesecke+Devrient and others including business leaders, solution architects, visionaries, entrepreneurs from the Embedded and IoT segment. Addressing the audience at the workshop, Mr. Nishant Sharma CTO at KritiKal Solutions highlighted how KritiKal’s aspirations to advance the world through innovation, have come to life in the recent changes across industries such as Automotive, Healthcare, Defence, Traffic & City Surveillance, Energy, Retail, and Education. Furthermore, he spoke about the importance of Build Frameworks on Linux systems, enabling developers to customize applications with specific features. He spoke in-depth about KritiKal’s work & IPs such as Smart Helmet, Refreshable Braille Display system, Smart Crane, Emergency Lighting System, Network Clocks, Solar Chargers, Battery Monitoring Systems, OCR, ANPR, Traffic enumerator & Classifier, Object Detection & much more. The full-day session also included discussions on Advanced Drive Assistance system ADAS and rapid proliferation of embedded vision technology in a myriad of applications and systems.
After the technology sessions, attendees had the chance to get a hands-on experience and sessions on some products like a computer on modules & single-board computers such as the Colibri and Apalis. Subject matter experts and lead engineers from Toradex and KritiKal Solutions helped enthusiasts learn how to boot the single board computers and run their programs.
